I whole heartedly agree. Targeting the average media pirate (such as 12 year olds) seems more like a vendetta of corporate power against personal freedom and can only incite further #occupy. On the other hand allowing a “freemium” model and a permissive attitude to sharing between people I think only enhances the excitability of the product. Shared versions are never as good quality, if the person can afford the manufacturers’ complete product they probably will. If they can’t now, they will in future.
